Robotic Welding and Automated Assembly
On our robotic cells, we process weld assemblies manufactured from both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. A high level of repeatability, close to 0.010", is maintained in all weldments joined by automated MIG or resistance welding. In addition to robotic welding, Eclipse also specializes in manual spot welding and manual MIG welding. We can weld both small and large engine housings of any length and diameters up to 2’. In addition to engine housings, structural body parts of powder-coated sports vehicles can also be welded for our customers.
Our skilled engineers will analyze customers’ assembly requirements and part specifications to simplify or remove operations as well as eliminate complexities in assembling custom formed components. By robotic welding, we produce precise welds even on complex assemblies, such as mufflers, hose reels, window regulators, motor slide brackets, and exhaust manifolds. Non-destructive structural tests, such as pole tests and part tests, are performed to ensure high quality of the parts welded.
