Deep Drawn Stampings
Eclipse has over 80 years of experience in manufacturing deep drawn stampings for the automotive, plumbing, compressor, gasoline engine, and electrical markets. Depending on your specific application requirements, deeply recessed parts can be produced from a range of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, such as stainless steel, brass, aluminum, copper, plus low & high carbon steel. We form precision, deep drawn parts through a combination of drawing, bending, and stretching operations.
Our stamping presses feature tonnage capacities up to 400 tons and bed sizes up to 54” x 96”, which enable us to produce both simple as well as complex deep drawn stampings. Tight tolerances of up to 0.0001” are maintained in all types of parts stamped by us. Factors such as thickness of the material used, part geometry, draw radii, blank size, draw ratio, and press speed are calculated accurately to ensure high quality in production. Our single station deep drawing and progressive deep drawing processes facilitate increased material utilization, which translates into significant savings, especially in high volume production runs.
